The Ford Barra turbo 6 is a popular engine choice at any street drags around Australia, however it’s not so common to see one running quick times using a manual gearbox. Wade’s 2004 Ford FPV F6 Typhoon uses the factory Tremec T56 6-speed with power transmitted through M&H radial tyres. The forged engine has been pushed as hard as 1100 wheel horsepower thanks to a Precision 8285 turbo at 42psi tuned by Independent Motorsports.
